My first achievement in art was possibly throwing a crayon at the teacher and avoiding the 6 of the best with the cane because he couldn’t find the key to the cupboard wherein it hid… but really, I’m not proud of that anymore.

Obsessed with drawing from a young age, at a later age I paid people substantial amounts of money to draw my designs on…me. Designing tattoos was the next leg of my graphic journey, and was inspired largely by my interest in bone carving which I learned at school in New Zealand.

Soon after leaving school I trained in screen printing and small offset printing. I worked for a time as a courier for a small printing business in Sydney, during which time I designed and printed many t-shirts.

With a keen interest in music, I soon became involved in designing promotional flyers for local bands, including my own. My small claim to fame at this point was designing a t-shirt for successful Sydney pop/punk band Frenzal Rhomb.

Whilst continuing to design and print t-shirts, I developed an interest in photography. Today, that interest has evolved into a semi-professional one, and I now work as a freelance photographer

In January 2008 I commenced studying for an Advanced Diploma of Commercial Arts (Electronic Design and Interactive Media) at Commercial Arts Training College (CATC) in Melbourne. I graduated in February 2010 – 6 months ahead of schedule under CATC'S self-paced learning program.

During my studies I have developed a passion, almost an obsession in fact, for web design and electronic design. Although I have only built relatively few websites as yet (there are a couple more under construction) I am keen to develop my skills in this area.

As a reward for reading this far I’ll now provide
some random facts about me:

• I have a scar on my right ankle in the shape of Tasmania
• I drink way too much coffee
• I firmly believe parsley should be outlawed
• I have a beautiful 6 year old daughter named Madeleine
• I am about 6’4” tall and have surgical steel tubes
in my earlobes
• I never want to work in a call centre again!

I look forward to speaking and working with you!
